Set off for Périnet. The paved road is beautiful but particularly winding, with the journey east being the most wooded due to abundant rainfall. Many lively small towns with their large displays of exotic fruits add a unique charm to this route. Enjoy the grand scenery of the Mandraka gorges and its winding road.

Stop at the Peyrieras Reserve, home to numerous species of chameleons, insects, and reptiles typical of the island. Night visit to the park to discover Madagascar’s tiny lemur, the “Microcebus.”

Transfer by motorboat to Ankanin’ny Nofy via Lake Rasoabe.

Depart for Tamatave by motorboat, passing typical villages along the shore covered with Pandanus and Ravenalas. Arrival at the river port of Tamatave. Transfer by car to Mahambo.
